What happens if inclement weather occurs?

PDY will be rescheduled to a later date within 8 weeks of the original date.

Who can attend PDY?

PDY is a youth/family conference designed for the entire family, pastors and youth leaders. If you have a child that is under the age of 4 years old, the child must remain with an adult at all times. Childcare will not be provided for children under the age of 4.

Where is PDY held?

PDY will be held in Fayetteville, NC. On Friday evening, the PDY G.L.O.W. Run/Walk event will be held at Festival Park. On Saturday, all workshops sessions and concert will be held at Fayetteville State University.

Can my registration be cancelled?

Sorry, all sales are final, and cannot be refunded. No EXCEPTIONS!

How do I register?

You can register at Eventbrite. You will receive confirmation & tickets via email. You MUST present your PRINTED TICKET(S) at the door for entry into both Friday Night and Saturday’s Events. Tickets may be purchased at the door based on availability.

Do I need to print my tickets?

Yes. Print Your tickets after you register and bring them with you to gain entry to the conference.

Will I be able to purchase lunch on site?

Yes, based on availability.  They also can be purchased in advance at pdy2017.Eventbrite.com. Quantities are limited, so we encourage attendees to purchase lunch tickets in advance.

Are wristbands required during the conference?

Yes. Wristbands are required as a safety precaution. They are given out at check-in.

Are there any group sales?

Group discounts are available for groups of 20 or more. For group information, please call (919) 774-9462.

Where do I park?

For Friday’s GLOW FUN RUN/WALK: Parking at Festival Park is free in designated areas based on availability.For Saturday’s Workshops and Concert: Parking is Free at Fayetteville State University in designated areas.

GLOW Fun Run F.A.Q.

Do I have to run?

No.  Everyone is not expected to run.  We are simply asking for your participating in completing the race for our youth!  Run, walk, jog, or skip…just be sure to finish the race!!

Will the race route be well lit?

Yes, due to the fact that the race will begin as night approaches, the race route will have lighting throughout.

Will there be color or paint?

No.  No colored powder or paint will be thrown along the race route.  You can get your face painted inside the park before the race begins.

Will there be water stations?

Yes, there will be water stations inside the park, before and after the race; along with frequent stops along the race route.

What all is included in my Registration Fee?
  • Entrance into the park for festivities on Friday, July 21, 2017

  • Glow Gear to help light up your night
  • Water/Snacks before and after the race

No T-shirts will be provided for the race.  Each runner will receive a racing bib to be placed on your shirt!

Do you have a refund policy?

No. Refunds will not be processed.  But tickets are transferable in the event you or your group cannot attend.

Can I transfer my entry to another person?

Yes, in the event you are unable to attend, your ticket can be transferred to another person.  The attendee must have their ticket(s) printed out and have it at check in.

Is the race timed?

No, the race is not timed.  You are more than welcome to time yourself if you’d like.

Who can participate?

We welcome anyone who would like to run.  Children 3 and under are FREE to be a part of the race as well as park festivities.  Children 4 and up must register to enter the park and participate in the run.

What should I bring?

Outside of wearing a white t-shirt, you can bring a cell phone to capture the fun moments as well as a small bag/backpack to hold all of your personal belongings.  You will be held responsible for keeping up with your personal possessions.

Are strollers allowed?

Yes, strollers are allowed.  You will be responsible for stroller care and safety along the race route.

Can I bring my dog?

Knowing how much we love dogs, unfortunately no dogs/pets will be allowed inside the park or on the course of the run.
